PSALMS 139:14 WE ARE CREATED TO PROCLAIM GOD’S GLORIOUS WORKS
Hello friends. I greet you all in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are welcome to the “Daily Soul Feast” section of my blog. The daily soul feast focuses on one Bible verse each day for our daily spiritual nourishment. You can also watch the video on YouTube. thank God for the increased grace to make videos of some of the Daily Soul Feast devotionals. I pray the Holy Spirit will minister the word to you directly in Jesus Name (Amen)
Our Bible verse today is taken from Psalms 139:14
I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. Psalms 139:14 (AMP)
My exhortation is based on the above verse and the title is:
WE ARE CREATED TO PROCLAIM GOD’S GLORIOUS WORKS psalms 139:14
This I will further break down to two.
- Confirmation that we are fearfully and wonderfully created
- How You can proclaim God’s glorious work
King David was a man that God loved very well because he knew how to touch the heart of God through praise. King David saw beyond the outward appearance that we define as beautiful. His spiritual eyes were opened to see both the visible and the invisible that is within.
As a result of His deep understanding He declared: wonderful are your works and my soul knows it very well.
- Sometimes It is good to pause and reflect:
- Do you honestly know or believe that you are wonderfully and fearfully created?
- Are you convinced that God put in a lot to make you whom you are today?
- If your answers to the above is positive then it will be natural for you to proclaim to others what God did in your life.
- I think it will not be out of place to give God a shout of praise!
HOW TO PROCLAIM GOD’S GLORIOUS WORKS THROUGH PRAISE PSALMS 139:14
Glory, thank God because even before you were formed He already knew you.
You are unique and a product of His unconditional love. You are unique and a special version of yourself.
Now that you know how special you are to God, I implore you not be shaken by the things that happen to you or around you. They are temporary and you can depend on God to care for you. Your life is sacred and precious to Him.
I pray for you: May you become a person of praise that is able to see the greatness of God in every circumstance as David did. By the time you get to that level you will no longer be afraid of satanic treats.
If our life is not precious to God; He would not have put in so much time and work to make us who we are today. Whichever aspect of God’s deeds you ponder over; the work of God remains a mystery.
Let this knowledge move you to choose to praise God always as King David did.
I pray that the good things God has created in you will not be destroyed in Jesus name. Your physical body is just a casing for your beautiful soul. Covid 19 and other ravaging diseases cannot destroy the wonderful work God that has done in each one of us and neither can His purpose for you be altered. Hence you should learn to praise Him ceaselessly.
GOD PLANNED FOR YOU TO HAVE A PURPOSEFUL LIFE
Our existence is not by chance. God planned for us even before we were born. He knew beforehand that in our time there will be Covid19 and other challenges therefore He has already prepared a way to escape for each one of us.
I pray God will open your eyes to see the path of escape He has mapped out for you so that you will not be overcome by plagues or diseases. May you not miss your way for escape in Jesus name.
B. How You can proclaim God’s glorious works
- Trust God to save you no matter the situation around.
Don’t grumble like people that have no hope. God wants us run to Him whenever we are overwhelmed by fear of life.
You can also trust God’s saving power through Jesus Christ. We are not able to save ourselves because of the sin in us. But thank God for a son was given to us and His name is Jesus Christ; Jesus Christ is the perfect sacrifice whose blood blots away our sins
HOW TO PROCLAIM GOD’S GLORIOUS WORKS: Depend on God through Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is daily interceding for us. Let Him know your fears and concerns.
In Matthew 11:28 (NLT) Jesus said “come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest.”
The burden we carry differs: I don’t know the burden that is weighing you down; but I know the God that can take away that burden.
- Your burden could be fear of the unknown, anxiety because of the pandemic
- Hopelessness because God has not yet given you children
- Pain because of disappointments, bitterness as a result of losses you suffered
- Or maybe it is sickness that Doctors are unable to offer solution to.
- Whatever it is surrender it to Jesus and He will give you rest. When He gives you rest from your burden you will experience peace.
You cannot know the provision God has made available for your peace if don’t make an attempt to access it by surrendering to Jesus.
Until you taste or come to God through Jesus Christ you cannot enjoy the goodness set aside for you by God. The solution comes when you taste.
Try Jesus today and you will experience the goodness of God.
Even when the problem is not yet resolved He will give you the strength to carry on.
Seek God’s purpose for you and utilize the gifts of God in your life
Seek God’s purpose. We are on earth for an assignment. The talents God deposited in you is for a purpose. Be it singing, drawing, handcraft, ministering to others or dancing use it. God gave you to use and in return you will give an account and be rewarded.
My dear friends: What work has God given you to do? How effective and productive are you in your place of work or business or ministry? You are not there by chance. Discover the skills meant for your work so as to put it to adequate use.
Let your work proclaim the glory of God
And in verse John 17:5 Jesus was able to request for His reward because He completed His task.
We know Jesus is God sent down as the son to redeem mankind. It was not an easy journey for Him as He journey to the cross where He was crucified but He triumphed because He focused on doing God’s work well. Hence the right time
HOW TO PROCLAIM GOD’S GLORIOUS WORKS : it is time for reward
Hence if you want God to beautify you with His glory then proclaim His glorious deeds by your work. Let others know it is the power of God that is moving you in the right direction. As a result they will not attribute the glory meant for God to other lesser gods.
We know God does not owe anybody. He rewards accordingly in due time but we cannot justifiably ask for promotion from God if we have not used up what He has given us for the current position.
May God help you to utilize the resources meant for each position at the right time so that you will always be a candidate for promotion to better positions in Jesus name.
You proclaim the work of God when you tell others of His saving grace through Jesus Christ
Tell others. Don’t keep the goodness of God that you know to yourself. God has more than enough resources to go round everyone that is burdened. Let the ones that have lost hope know that God has made a way of escape for them from destruction. Share your testimony with others.
When you share your testimony it encourages and motivates them to run the race without getting tired.
Consequently it draws some other people to God and your own joy will also increase.
In rounding up I encourage you to pray the following prayers:
- I praise you Lord for creating me wonderful and beautiful for you.
- You alone understand my intricate body system, please keep it in perfect shape.
- Lord give me rest from the overwhelming labours pulling me down.
- Equip me to face the challenges of each day.
- Grant me good success in whatever I lay my hands upon.
- Let the wonders of Your work be evident in my life and sanctify my tongue to proclaim you glory.
May the wonders of God’s work be evident in your life in Jesus Name. (Amen)
